Trail 5

	Piatra Pinului – Voronet – Izvor Brusturosu		Length:140 m Height: 290 m

The starting point of the circuit is the Tourism Information Centre in the “Lunca Moldovei” Dendrological Park. It strides along the alleys of the park and crosses the suspended bridge over the Moldova River. The trail makes a right turn, beneath the tree branches, alongside the Moldova River, upstream, while on the left side tourists will wonder at the “Soimul” ski slope and the Piatra Pinului Geological Oligocene Reserve. The trail goes past the Nemtoiu Chalet, crosses the Voronet Creek and follows alongside its banks till it reaches the Voronet Monastery – also called the “Sistine Chapel of Eastern Europe”. Tourists will afterwards take the forest road, reaching the Brusturosu Creek – a sulphurous mineral water creek that can relief certain medical conditions. The trail back will retrace the steps to the starting point.
