The Bogdaneasa trail has a low degree of difficulty as it can even be taken up by beginners. The starting point is in the Dendrological Park, the Tourism Information Centre. After crossing the bridge over the Humor Creek, upon exiting the Park, bikers will cycle for about 200 meters and reach Mihai Eminescu Street. The family of Joseph Schmidt, a great Romanian tenor, lived in a house located on this particular street.

The trail then makes a right turn, followed by a left turn, over the level crossing and past the St. Andrew School, the Liberty Park – with the Gymnasium Hall, the Church celebrating the Saint Archangels Michael and Gabriel, the Elementary School no. 2 (1910) and the Courthouse. The trail gently goes uphill on the Vasile Alecsandri Street and then makes a turn on Stejarului Street. Tourists taking this trail can witness both the daily activities of the city dwellers – as the trail is flanked by traditional households – and the beauty of the forested peaks that line up in the horizon. From Stejarului Street, the trail descends on Cetatii Street, past the cemetery, and continues uphill towards Bogdaneasa Forest. Thus, tourists will reach a stunning birch forest, with uncluttered fresh air and breathtaking scenery. The trail will follow the rim of the forest to the Bogdaneasa Chalet. Nearby lie the ruins of an 18th century fortress. The trail will then lead back to the town, on Bucovina Boulevard, along the Moldova River bank till it crosses the Mihai Eminescu Street that will take you back to the starting point.
